World's Largest Cargo Ship from Denmark - Just for Laughter - October 2007 Issue 01

Posted in

Hello folks! It has been some time since I last give you people some laughter and interesting images. Here I have today is a cargo ship - Emma Maersk, which is several times larger than an aircraft carrier!

(click here or on the thumbnail to see more pictures...)

According to some unknown sources, the World's Largest Cargo Ship is capable of handling 15,000 containers and a 207' beam; given its extreme gigantic size,

The 207' beam was specifically design in such a way so that the ship can be used for transpacific purposes. Moving at a high speed of 31 knots (compared to normal container ship that travels between 18 and 20 knots), this cargo ship is able to deliver goods in much shorter time, and is exceptionally useful for transporting perishable goods.

The details of the ship is given at the bottom, after the images...
