With the recent release of FireStats 1.5.1-beta, some users might encounter problem upgrading it on WordPress 2.0.x versions.
One issue that caused the problem is the missing function file "pluggable.php" from WordPress 2.0.x, due to the change from the legacy version to the latest WordPress 2.3.x versions. There is a way to walk around the issue, and it's quite simple.
Quick Fix to Upgrade FireStats 1.5.1 Beta in WordPress 2.0.11
- Access the "wp-includes" directory in your WordPress installation. For example
/public_html/WORDPRESS_ROOT/wp-includes/
- Make a duplicated copy of "pluggable-functions.php" and rename it as "pluggable.php". If you can access using SSH, do the following,
cp pluggable-functions.php pluggable.php
- Finally, access your FireStats tab in WordPress and click to Upgrade your version to Version 12 (of FireStats).
Voila! So it works, isn't it?

Keith,
Thanks.
Hopefully I will fix this for 1.5.2, but it may take a while because I am on a work trip and don't have much time to look into FireStats.
so far a few bugs have been reported about 1.5.1, none of which is critical.
That's great, omry!
You're most welcome, omry. I'll be looking forward for your next release.
