How about a shared hosting server that has an almost 99.9% uptime that is capable of handling over thousands of hits per second? UnlimitedMB.com may just be the answer for you. However, before anyone should attempt to sign up for their service, it is important to note that their guidelines and regulations are particularly stringent. So, make sure to read their Terms and Conditions before signing up. (Read more)After getting through the registration process, the rest of the procedure will be a breeze walk through. UnlimitedMB.com has a very simple control panel, unlike cPanel or DirectAdmin, that provides almost the requirement for a PHP web hosting. Stuffs like MySQL and personalized web statistics are included. Some of the features are as follow.
Features
- 500GB Data Transfer
- 5GB Disk Space
- Fast 100MBit Internet Connection
- Automated Instant Activation
- yourname.ulmb.com
- yourname.com.net.sc
- PHP & MySQL
- 99.9% Uptime
- FTP & Browser Uploads
The web hosting service provides two sub domain names, i.e. .ulmb.com and .com.net.sc, which users can choose to set up as many web sites as desired. Alternatively, top level domains (TLDs) are also supported for users who own domain names. Note that, second-level domain names that use DNS management, such as uni.cc, are not supported.
Two mainstream servers are used to drive the web hosting. The first is the web server where users' files are hosted on, the second is the SQL server where the database is located. The Apache web server is powered by FreeBSD. With such efficient services, one of the primary reasons is that there are several adhering restrictions governing the operation of the web server. Some file extensions, such as .htaccess and .rar are not allowed. PHP upload limits are only restricted to 500kB and FTP file size limit is restricted to a maximum of 2MB. In spite of these restrictions, the services provided have been excellent. The network traffic is often smooth, with little congestion despite an unbelievable large network of sites hosted. It is quite unlikely that users will be able to fully use up 5GB of bandwidth traffic. Even if it does, the server will just continue to operate normally; only a warning message is sent to the registered user. Furthermore, the web host provides an incredible large storage space of 5GB.
UnlimitedMB.com truly deserved 8 stars out of 10. If not for their stringent restrictions and limitations, they might just make a perfect 10 out of 10.

The limitations on file extensions are the only problem I have with ULMB. I cannot use the Cutenews PHP news system due to the file limitations. I also cannot use Invision Power Board with ULMB but I can use vBulletin. I think ULMB is great if you are looking for large, free hosting.
