Just heard on of the saddest news in the new year of 2009. Thiemo Seufer, a dedicated and active member of the Debian Project community has died on December 26th in a tragic car accident.
Thiemo was the main leading supporter of the Debian port to the MIPS architectures and was in a way involved in several Debian projects, including small projects. His work and dedication will not be forgotten.
To honour his contributions to Debian, the project decided to dedicate the upcoming release of Debian GNU/Linux 5.0 "Lenny" to Thiemo.
