WhatsApp Inc

Mobile users should be very familiar with this WhatsApp Messenger application. Exist as a cross-platform mobile messaging app, it allows users to exchange messages without having to pay for SMS, and it is also vailable for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia.

Utilising only the Internet data plan, it further allows you to use for email and web browsing at no cost to message, whilst staying in touch with your friends.

Normally, this app is charged at US$0.99 for iPhone users. Today (15th October 2011), when I noticed that it is given out as "FREE", perhaps for a one-day promotional offer. Well, iPhone users should access iTunes to download it as soon as possible, or install it via your iPhone AppStore.

Take the best of this opportunity before whilst stock last!

Jailbreak 4.3.1 iPhone Using Sn0wBreeze

iPhone 3GS

Jailbreaking Apple devices have become very common today as end-users are trying new ways to make full use of the electronic device that they purchase from Apple. To be honest, I have a iPhone 3GS since more than 1 year ago, but I never got down to jailbreaking it until recently, fearing that my warranty will be void.

Now that my 1-year warranty is up, I have decided to be adventurous and take this one step further - jailbreaking my iPhone! It probably sounds like nothing to those who have already done so, but to me and others who have never done it before, it feels like a risk.

Despite that iOS 4.3.2 has been released by Apple, my iPhone 3GS is still operating with iOS 4.3.1. I did a couple of research, including information from Redmond Pie website, it is recommended that users (including iPad or iPod) do not upgrade to the latest version if they want to maintain their keep their iPhone jailbroken.

(Here are the steps that I used to jailbreak my iPhone...)

Skype 5.0 for Mac Beta

The world's most popular Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony company, Skype, has announced a beta release version of Skype 5.0 for Mac, which encompasses some improvement, such as, ringing a single-window design, group video calling, Address Book integration.

Apparently, Address Book integration is the major improvements in this release. Skype users should have experienced the hassle of having to look up the contacts in the Address book and type the numbers into Skype manually. This release provides an automatic import function to update contact information under the "Address Book" section of the Contacts.

The new re-designed interface is also another catchy fashion, to bring freshness to Skype users.
