Less than 2 weeks ago, I reported on the availability of Firefox 6 Beta version that was released by Mozilla developers for testing. And 3 days ago, the next version of Firefox Beta v7.0 was offered to betal channel users as well.

In this latest release, the key changes are:

Opera 11

Opera

On Thursday, Opera announced the release of its latest Opera 11 version, that includes performance and standards compliance improvements in its Presto rendering engine. What truly stands out in this version are the new extension system and "tab stacking" capability for easier tab management.

In addition, Opera 11 also adds a visual guide for various mouse and trackpad gestures that can be used for navigation. There is also a safety level indicator, located at the address bar, to inform user of any potential security issues. Finally, the new version's binary is 30 percent smaller than its predecessor, Opera 10, and therefore can expect a performance improvement by as much as 30 percent.
