SITEX 2009

How time flies, here we are again to welcome SITEX 2009, after successful years in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Economy crisis might have affected worldwide since last year, but evidently, IT and Consumer product sales have not declined. Therefore, if you are looking for Christmas gifts, this is a good starting point.

This year, SITEX 2009 Fair will feature 36 new exhibitors, including 3 overseas vendors (BuyRule from Korea, Manda Photo Services from Hong Kong and TravelSIM from Estonia) - covering a wide range of digital and IT products, including but not limited to media players, gaming software, home entertainment system, mobile phones, smart phones and others.

Similar to past years, there is a lucky draw and a "Ladies Go Tech" lucky dip, offering customers with a chance to win attractive prizes.

Getting There

The Singapore Expo has over 2,000 parking spaces available for visitors; however when it comes to such a grand event, sometimes these spaces are inadequate. If you decide to try your luck at the Parking lot, here's some information for you:

Parking charges:

  • 7am - 5pm: 1st two hours cost $2.30 and each subsequent half-hour costs $1.10.
  • 5pm - 7pm: per entry charge is $2.30.
  • Special note: maximum charge per day is capped at S$13.

To avoid parking headaches, visitors are recommended to visit the Singapore Expo either by bus or MRT, the local train system (alight at the Expo station). The exhibition hall is served several SBS (Singapore Bus Services) bus routes: No. 12, 24, 35 and 38.
