You can easily retrieve or reset your password for admin access to your PHPLinkDirectory (phpLD) site, with a simple phpMyAdmin SQL editing. In order to do that you must be able to access the phpMyAdmin panel.
(see more step-by-step instruction to recover your password...)
Instruction
- Access your phpMyAdmin control panel and select the phpLinkDirectory database.

- Then click on PLD_USER to display the row consisting of the admin user.

- Click on the "pencil" icon to edit the record.
- On the password field, enter the plain-text password. If you are using hash, then use the following password hash for your user.
d033e22ae348aeb5660fc2140aec35850c4da997
That will set your password to "admin".

- Save the new setting. That's it!
I managed to resolve this 'Forgot My Password' syndrome with this method. Hope that it helps you in your cause too. Cheers!
