PC Show 2007 in Singapore

Posted in

The PC Show 2007, held annually in June, is set to bring forth another gate-crashing and high adrenalin event in Suntec City Concention Centre, Singapore, this year. The exhibition will start on Thursday, May 31, 2007 and end Sunday, June 3, 2007.

According to the organiser, Lines Exposition and Management Services, this year's forcast for total sales is expected to hit a new record of S$25 million. Last year's show attracted about 800,000 visitors, with a sale record of S$20 million. (This year's PC Show 2007 has set a new record, read here.)

(find out more about the event...)

Some of the big name companies that are participating in the event are:

These companies are also taking this opportunity to launch new products, including, but not limited to, digital photo frames and laptops with Intel's new Santa Rosa chip.

In addition to PC-related products, there are also booths for Xbox and Playstation. Gamers can even try out their hands on these game machines at specially dedicated kiosks.

What cool new gadgets may be on show? (My friend, Al, would definitely drool to attend this if he can make the trip from UK to Singapore.) Some of these new gadgets are:

  1. Kohjinsha Ultra Mobile PC - special because it has a 7-inch screen and it fits perfectly into your purse or briefcase.
  2. Lesca RE i70 digital camera - new 3x optical zoom with 3-inch LCD screen.

On top of that, there is a lucky draw, with a top prize of $10,000 in cash, that is to be won! Other prizes include digital cameras, GPS systems and LCD monitors.

The details of the PC Show 2007 is given below:

Venue: Suntec City Convention Centre
Area: Halls 601 - 603
Dates: May 31, 2007 to June 3, 2007

With so much goodies expected at this PC fair, why hesitate? If you are coming down, make sure that you bring along cash, as some booths may not accept credit cards (or NETS, a local credit card system).

Happy PC Shopping!

I've looked up to Canon for

I've looked up to Canon for some time. A few years ago I feel that as a business it has suffered. For a while their particularly camcorder quality was not what it used to be and IME, the standard of Canon's camcorder goods was going south. HOWEVER, today I think they are tops although they are not the cheapest camcorders.
