Bubble Tea - Easy Way Tea Shop Opened in Glasgow

Bubble Tea, a beverage originating from Taiwan, has found its way to Glasgow, Scotland. This drink is highly popular in Asia and is gaining quite popularity in the America and European countries as well.

Bubble tea is prepared by mixing various ingredients in the drink, such that it ended with a layer of foam on the surface. There are various types of bubble tea, but the one that I normally drink is Red Milk Tea with Pearl.

Back to the story in Glasgow, the Easy Way Tea Shop is now serving all kinds of bubble milk tea and pearl milk tea. The shop is located at the following address:

Savoy Centre, 140 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3DU

Enjoy a relaxing drink in the summer with Milk Tea!

BlueHost Goes Unlimited

BlueHost, a popular web-hosting company has increased its lucrative features for customers. This time, it is probably more than anyone would have expected!

Account holders get to have Unlimited Bandwidth and Unlimited Storage for their very own web hosting solution. More information can be found here.

The following features are unlimited:

  • Disk storage
  • Bandwidth transfer
  • Add-on domains
  • Parked domains
  • Email autoresponder
  • Forwarding email accounts
  • Subdomains

Furthermore, there are even other more attractive features available for BlueHost customers. And one of the main reasons why I am still sticking with them is because they do offer SSH, a very useful functionality for owners to login remotely onto the Linux system.

So far, my experience with BlueHost has been very enriching. I would highly recommend this as an entry level for paid web hosting service, particularly for its low cost as well.

Google New Logo on 18052008

Another new Google Logo has been found! Just today, I found this second new Google logo that has been circling around the Internet. The first new Google logo was found on 16 May 2008.

The second new Google logo was located today, 18 May 2008. This makes me think if Google is trying to come up with a fresh idea to introduce a new logo each time there is an event or a date of remembrance?

For instance, the first logo was dedicated to the invention of laser (source quoted by SelfMadeMinds). This time, I'm not sure what is it for; but definitely there is a reason for the design.

Woman Found Thief In Bed Beside Her

A 36-year-old Malaysian woman woke up on Tuesday, when she discovered that the naked man who had slipped into her bed in the middle of the night was a thief and not her husband!

According to Reuters (source), the wife was asleep at home when the thief stripped himself naked and laid down beside her. She found it suspicious only when she spoke to him and his voice sounded different.

She then went to another room, only to find his husband fast asleep on the couch. That was when she screamed, waking up the thief, who fled by leaping out of the window.

China Earthquake Aid Pledges

China has finally opened its door to accept foreign aids - the first coming from Japan. Chinese authorities have rebuffed or delayed entry for foreign experts, mainly because of language barrier in terms of logistic coordination, rather than nationalism.

In addition, China has accepted donations from other countries. Even some major corporate and organisations have pledged aids for victims in China.

(find out how much was contributed to China's earthquake in Sichuan, China...)

Google New Logo Found on 16052008

I stumbled into a very interesting, new Google Logo today. Just before I closed or clicked on the search button, a screen-shot was taken from the site to show you guys.

It probably might fascinate some geeks; probably because it is Friday today. Some Google programmers might take fun onto their own hands. Besides, I think that it is quite cool too!

New Update!! Apparently, a second new Google Logo was found on 18 May 2008!

Living in Singapore - Book for Expatriates

Yvonne, a friend of mine, was recently sharing her experience as an expatriate working in Singapore. Originally from Hong Kong, she has visited various countries, including the United Kingdom. The book, Living in Singapore in which she has contributed her experience, together with a few other top expatriates in Singapore, is one that every expatriates should read.

Yvonne's personal words:

Hi there,

I am very happy to share with you the news that the first publication of Yvonne's writing is out! "Living in Singapore" (10th edition) is an informative book on moving to and living in Singapore for expatriates. I participated to write Chapter 1 - the Big Move (there are 14 other writers for the other chapters). If you have any friends who are moving to or lately moved to Singapore, please recommend this to them!

Best greetings from the sunny and rainy Singapore,
Yvonne

The book is now on sale at , as well as at the American Association of Singapore Office, 10 Claymore Hill (near Orchard mrt) or on their website.

Living in Singapore is definitely a highly recommended book for business personnel, who plans to stay in Singapore. It also includes critical information useful for individuals interested in setting up small businesses and for those moving to Singapore without the support of large corporate human resource departments.

Unlike travel guides, such as Lonely Planet, it offers a deeper insight of what is it like or feel to be staying in the smallest country in Southeast Asia.
