New .ASIA Domain Name Public Release

Dot ASIA (.ASIA) Domain is publicly launched for purchase. There has been quite a number of discussion held recently with regards to the value of .asia domain names, as compared to others, such as .com, .net or even .org.

There is little confidence that .asia domain names may eventually become popular, but it judging from the rate that some exquisite domain names have been snapped up by people tells a different story.

The .ASIA top-level domain (TLD) is an ICANN-sponsored domain extension that represents the Asia-Pacific region. In contrast to individual countries, the .ASIA domain gives an exposure to the Asia-Pacific region that can be particularly useful for companies who conduct business in different countries within the region.
