Making Web Hosting Better - TF Hosting

Posted in

Another brand new service has just launched not long ago. TF Hosting, also known as (aka) The Free Hosting, has emerged. Run by two owners, TF Hosting aims to offer free web hosting services to the public. Similar to several other free web hosting services, e.g. Hostmatrix, Quotaless, etc., TF Hosting offers a Post-to-Host method to attract memberships. The TF Hosting Forum is a growing community with new members signing up every day. Most of them are usually college students; for example, Collins College, Tempe AZ, some are from professional working class people. So, it is also a great opportunity to meet people from around the globe.

Albeit it is still new, the service has been rather promising. TF Hosting has two dedicated servers; one running with 2 CPUs, and the other with 4 CPUs.

There are several plans offered by the service. Ranging from a simple Basic Plan with 500MB storage space and 5GB bandwidth to high-end Expert Plan with 10GB storage and 100GB bandwidth, it is certainly that at least one of the plans will suit you. Specific details of the various plans are shown below.

(Continue to article...)

Type TFH Basic TFH Starter TFH Standard TFH Advanced TFH Expert

Monthly Bandwidth (GB) 5 10 20 50 100
Features* unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited

Monthly Requirement (minimum) 5 posts 10 posts 15 posts 20 posts 30 posts

* Features refer to with sub-domains, FTP accounts, add-on domains and parked domains. The type of management system used is cPanel.

Besides offering free hosting service, if you are interested in Paid Hosting, TF Hosting Community is also a place where interested members can look out for. Besides the features that the free hosting service is offering, it also includes SSH Shell access, allowing site owners to log on to the UNIX server when required. By default, it is disabled, but that can be enabled upon request.

Generally, signing up for the service is pretty straightforward. All that it is needed to be done is to register in the forum and make a couple of posts. I'm pretty sure it will not take anyone more than 10 minutes to make 5 decent posts. So, why not check out what this new service has to offer.
