Living in Singapore - Book for Expatriates

Yvonne, a friend of mine, was recently sharing her experience as an expatriate working in Singapore. Originally from Hong Kong, she has visited various countries, including the United Kingdom. The book, Living in Singapore in which she has contributed her experience, together with a few other top expatriates in Singapore, is one that every expatriates should read.

Yvonne's personal words:

Hi there,

I am very happy to share with you the news that the first publication of Yvonne's writing is out! "Living in Singapore" (10th edition) is an informative book on moving to and living in Singapore for expatriates. I participated to write Chapter 1 - the Big Move (there are 14 other writers for the other chapters). If you have any friends who are moving to or lately moved to Singapore, please recommend this to them!

Best greetings from the sunny and rainy Singapore,
Yvonne

The book is now on sale at , as well as at the American Association of Singapore Office, 10 Claymore Hill (near Orchard mrt) or on their website.

Living in Singapore is definitely a highly recommended book for business personnel, who plans to stay in Singapore. It also includes critical information useful for individuals interested in setting up small businesses and for those moving to Singapore without the support of large corporate human resource departments.

Unlike travel guides, such as Lonely Planet, it offers a deeper insight of what is it like or feel to be staying in the smallest country in Southeast Asia.

hey sounds good! ill most likely go check it out :)

i always believe that books should be written by one living there - from a local's perspective, though an expat should be ok, if its not too quirky too :)
