Google Purchases TV Data

Posted in

Turning its focus towards demographic data from Nielsen Co., Google is now determined to sell more television ads - a new market area to dominate.

According to some unknow sources, Google will pay Nielsen an undisclosed sum of money to obtain detailed information about the type of people who watch specific Television programs.

The various types of information include, but not limited to:
  • Age
  • Gender
  • Marital Status
  • Types of products
  • Audience type
  • Other personal data
  • etc...

The move to target television ads by Google is another project aimed to achieve the same success as it has done to Internet-based ads.
