Google GMail Introduces Themes

Google Mail (aka GMail) has introduced a new feature in the widely-popular web-based mail application - Gmail Theme. The first thing that came into my mind is that it is likely to slow down the application, but to my surprise, it is as fast as before.

According to Google, themes allow GMail users to customise the look and feel of the account upon logging in. To select a particular theme for your GMail account, click on "Settings" and then click on the "Themes" tab. This will bring up the page as shown below.

There is an interesting feature that I noticed whilst playing with the themes. Some of them allow users to customise by location, such that the themes will change during the day as according to the local sunrise, sunset and/or weather.

Enjoy the theme, I have to admit the developers from Google truly did a marvellous job!
