Happy 10^th Birthday to GOOGLE!

On September 7^th, 2008, 4 entrepreneurs with $100,000 in capital established a dot-com company, which today has a spin-out worth hundred of billions of dollars! That company is Google.

The search engine is what that has made Google the ultimate leader in the Internet industry. Ask anyone to search for a particular piece of information, the first source that comes to the mind has to be Google. It has been used so frequently that sometimes people has undeniably used "google" as a verb, e.g. "let me google it...".

However, it is not only the search engine that surpassed users' expectation; their well-engineered servers allow them to provide high capacity mail system, the renowned Google Mail, or GMail in short. The storage capacity is literally unlimited, as it already has more than 2GB per account. Furthermore, it does not limit one account to one person.

Apart from mail, it also gives publishers a chance to monetise their websites by introducing Google AdSense. Advertisers can also make use of Google AdWords to advertise their content, thereby driving traffic to their sites.

From the way we look it, the innovation that Google has seems somewhat incredible and limitless. Recently, the introduction of Google Chrome has sent out a strong signal that intend to wrestle against Microsoft and Mozilla in the battle of web browsers.
