People with skin diseases can now approach the "fish doctor" for help. A particular species of freshwater fish, Garra rufa is used to treat skin diseases.
Generally, the fish feeds on dead skin, therefore allowing the healthy skin to grow. Whether it has been proven scientifically effective or successful, it has yet to be confirmed. Nonetheless, many people around the world have seem to have seek this approach to cure skin diseases.
