Samsung SGH-Z240 with Pirates of the Carribean - Promotion by M1

Posted in

Exclusive especially for M1 customers in Singapore, the Samsung SGH-Z240 mobile is only S$38 (£13) when a customer subscribes to a new 2-year plan contract with M1, or upgrade their phone thereby extending their contract to another 2 years. The new mobile phone contains the state-of-the art technology, which combines a list of features together with fashionable colours on changeable covers. This is in conjunction with the film, Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End, which is to be released on May 24, 2007.

I choose to write this post, because I happened to consider upgrading my ancient Nokia 3310 mobile phone, which is at least 6 years old.

As according to some sources, the Nokia 3310 is a dual band GSM900/1800 mobile phone released in the 4th quarter of 2000.

This particular phone model was one of the most successful phones and it has sold extremely well, with over 100 million pieces being sold.

I did not have the deepest urge to upgrade my robust mobile device, but whilst in Singapore, I was highly tempted by the extremely low price offered by mobile service provider, in this case, M1.

Guess the Screen Resolution Contest - $25 Prize

Posted in

Coolest-Gadgets (CG) is once again having another contest - guessing the screen resolutions.

Al, the owner of CG, is running a gadget competition to get participants to guess what screen resolutions are being used by CG visitors. This may seem to be relatively easy since if you own a site, you can technically check out from some statistical tools, e.g. Google Analytics, to obtain some close answers.

Anyway, the prize is to win a $25 Think Geek voucher. Below is what you have to do:

Simply leave a comment at the post with the number of how many different screen resolutions you think have been used to view Coolest Gadgets over the last week.

Remember to hurry! The contest is only open for the next 24 hours (probably lesser now),
