Having a jet lag that causes you sleepless nights? Research findings by Harvard University researchers reveal that by avoiding food on board the plane and by eating immediately after the flight landed helps people to adjust to the new time zone and avoid uncomfortable feelings of the jet lag effect.

This source is reported by BBC News. Although it may be potentially beneficial for long haul travellers and people who work during unsocial hours, Dr Neil Stanley, a sleep expert at Norwich University Hospital, also said that it will never make the symptom disappear completely.
