Fast Google Indexing

I was extremely amazed with the speed at which Google Search Engine has indexed some of the sites in the Internet, not to mention that there are billions of websites in the cyberspace. This was discovered by accident, within an hour when this article - Siggraph Asia 2008 in Singapore - was published. Its content was crawled and indexed by Google bots instantly. Within an hour or so, the content was listed on the search engine! (click to see image)

As shown on the image, the time of indexed was noted to be "1 hour ago". Imagine that a fresh content, just released not long ago, was capable of being searchable. Google has certainly raised the bar. It is perhaps time for Microsoft and Yahoo! to think about how to challenge the undoubted King of search engines.
