Apple iPhone is set for debut at the end of this month, June 29th, 2007, as it start selling through the online and physical stores of Apple and AT&T, which has iPhone exclusive rights for two years.
The innovative product is made up of a combination of three main components:
- a revolutionary mobile phone
- widescreen with touch control capability
- Internet connectivity to communicate with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps and searching
In addition, highly sophisticated software ensures everything is being controlled at the finger tips; this brings the union of both power and mobility together on a single handheld device, the Apple iPhone.
According to Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive officer, the iPhone is likely to cost somewhere between US$500 and US$600, depending on the amount of memory included in the handheld device.
With the debut coming up in a few weeks' time, it is likely to send challenge note to its competitor such as Motorola and Nokia, which are also selling similar high-end smart phones.
